Much of the climate hysteria is based on the expression “since records began” which is usually no more than one hundred and fifty years ago. Worse, cherry picking of low temperature base years is common to “prove” how bad things are becoming. While conservation and protection of the planet are important, taxing the poor and middle class to reduce them to peasantry, curtailing their ability to travel, and forcing the price of energy and food out of their range – all while lying about the effects of a trace gas that feeds plants – is most definitely not.
Regarding the ridiculous claims of “hottest days in the history of the planet” it is instructive to note that the planet Earth is more than 150 yrs old, 4.6 billion actually. And we are in an interglacial period of the Pleistocene Ice Age today. Here is global temp past 500 M yrs pic.twitter.com/Ekk3bhqtOr

If you ever find a shred of evidence human emissions drive global warming, Ian plimer would like to hear about it. https://t.co/ujac1sV3Gm
